I finally gave in. I’m reading Gone Girl by Gillian Flynn. Everyone was right. I can’t put it down. I’m very aggravated because there have been several times I thought I figured this out way early on and, as it turns out, I may not have a future in detective work. For a fiction book, it’s holding my attention. (And that’s saying A LOT.)
I’ve started reading Before Happiness by Shawn Achor on the plane this past weekend and I have to tell you, I’m crazy digging it. This is actual SCIENCE (and not all the old studies you already know about) behind how to create happiness in your life, in your work, everywhere. It gives you actual, actionable steps you can take that are proven to affect happiness levels!
I like facts as much as I like woo-woo, so this one is right up my alley.
I just finished reading Siddhartha. It’s kind slow and a little lyrical for my taste, but the message is so loud and clear I can’t help but recommend you check it out. It’s a quick read and will remind you that you’re the only one who has to/gets to decide how your life will go! Click here to purchase.
